Connect your Facebook Page to your WhatsApp to run ads that click to WhatsApp. These ads let you connect with customers when they click on a Send Message button on your Facebook or Instagram ads to start a conversation in WhatsApp.
Before you begin

You have to create a Facebook Page for your business. Otherwise, you can’t find WhatsApp and process with the steps in this article.
Note: If you only use the WhatsApp Business Platform, don’t follow the steps in this article. Go to this article instead.
Connect a Facebook Page to your WhatsApp
To connect a Facebook Page to your WhatsApp:
- Navigate to your Facebook Page.
- Click Settings.
- In the column on the left-hand side, click WhatsApp.
Note: You can only find WhatsApp in the Facebook Page for your business. You can’t find WhatsApp in your personal Facebook profile. - Choose your country code.
- Enter your WhatsApp Business phone number.
- Click Continue.
- Input the confirmation code that you receive.
- Click Confirm.
You’ve connected your Facebook Page to your WhatsApp.
You can connect your Page to a WhatsApp Business account. When you link your accounts, you can also choose to sync your business contact info from Facebook to WhatsApp. You must be an admin to turn on syncing.
To connect your Page and WhatsApp account:
- From your Feed, click
Pages in the left menu.
- Go to your Page.
- Click Settings in the top right.
- Click WhatsApp.
- Select your country code and enter your WhatsApp Business number.
- Click Send code.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finish connecting your WhatsApp account.
To turn on syncing, log in to the Facebook app for iPhone or Android.
