How To Set-Up Your Own Twitter Account

Of all the new platforms popping up on a regular basis, it is very unlikely that Twitter is something that has slipped through the cracks! Whether for personal or business use, Twitter is an incredibly popular Social Media channel that is perfect for staying up to date with current events, speak to friends, post information and many other uses as well.

However, before diving into the Twitter world, the first crucial step is to set up your own account. To help you along the way, we have highlighted all of the crucial steps which you must follow.

How to Create a Twitter Account on the Web

  1. Go to http://twitter.com and find the sign up box, or go directly to https://twitter.com/signup.
  2. Enter your full namephone number or email address, date of birth, and a password.
  3. Click Sign up for Twitter.
  4. In order to verify your phone number, we will send you an SMS text message with a code. You may also request a voice call to verify your phone number. Enter the verification code in the box provided. Learn more about having a phone number associated with your account.
  5. Once you’ve clicked Sign up for Twitter, you can select a username (usernames are unique identifiers on Twitter) — type your own or choose one we’ve suggested. We’ll tell you if the username you want is available.
  6. Double-check your name, phone number, password, and username.
  7. Click Create my account. You may be asked to complete a Captcha to let us know that you’re human.

Important Information

  • An email address can only be associated with one Twitter account at a time.
  • The email address you use on your Twitter account is not publicly visible to others on Twitter.

How to use Twitter for iPhone or iPad

The Twitter for iOS app can be used on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch device.

To sign up for an account

  1. Download the Twitter for iOS app, if you haven’t already installed it.
  2. Once the app is installed, you can log in with an existing account or sign up for a new account directly from the app.  Learn about managing multiple Twitter accountsthrough your app.
  3. Tap the Sign up icon on the welcome screen and fill out the fields asking for your name, phone number or email address, desired username, and password.
  4. If your desired username is already taken, it will turn red and a message will drop down below the username field telling you to choose a new username.
  5. Once you’ve chosen a username that has not been taken, a checkmark will appear next to the username.
  6. If you provided a phone number while signing up, we will immediately send you an text message with a code so we can verify your number. Enter the verification code in the box provided.

Note: If you provided an email address when signing up, we’ll send you a confirmation email. You must confirm your email address in order for it to be fully associated with your Twitter account so you can receive important notifications from us regarding your account.

How To Leave A Review On Google Maps

We have had lots of requests recently asking for information about our Google Maps listing. We greatly value all of the feedback that we receive from our customers and below is an easy step by step guide detailing how to add a review.

Firstly, it is crucial that you are signed in with your Google account if you wish to write a review. If you need to create a new account, simply click here, click on the ‘Create An Account’ option at the bottom of the page and then fill in the details as requested. The account is free to create and use and you will not be obliged to use it again in the future once you have left your review.

Once you’re signed in to your Google + account, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Open Google Maps and make sure you’re signed in.
  2. Search for a ‘Footprint Web Design, Oxted’
  3. Click ‘Write a Review’.

Once you have followed the steps outlined above, you will be taken through to the screen below. Simply choose the number of stars you wish to feel best represent your experience with us and leave a few words if wish. Once you have finished, click ‘post’ and your review will then be published.
